Barry Habib is the Chairman of the Board of Mortgage Success Source, the combined entities of Mortgage Market Guide, LoanToolbox and The Duncan Group. This organization helps more than 40,000 of America's best originators with products and services designed to achieve success and grow their businesses.

Mortgage Success Source includes Mortgage Market Guide's daily market advice, alerts and Certified Scripts for Success, LoanToolbox's marketing resources, including its automated marketing solution, PlatinumPlus, and The Duncan Group's best of breed sales training solutions, such as Mortgage Mastery University.

Mr. Habib has over 22 years experience in the mortgage industry. Barry has personally originated over $2 billion in individual loan production over his career.

In addition to his mortgage experience, Barry has successfully managed a Hedge Fund, authored a stock advisory newsletter, owned an insurance agency, and acted as managing partner in a real estate investment company. Barry's broad range of expertise in these varied areas of financial industries gives him a unique perspective, which he will share with you today.

Because of Barry's diverse areas of expertise, he is often featured on CNBC, NBC, CNN and FOX television networks. Barry has been the keynote speaker for 50 different state Mortgage Banking Associations.

 

Bill Bodnar is President of the Mortgage Market Guide and has been with the company since its inception in 2001. Aside from overseeing the day to day business at the MMG headquarters in New Jersey, Bill leads MMG's corporate and business development. He is also instrumental in creating new Strategic partnerships which provide additional resources and benefits to the MMG membership.

Having been a student of the financial markets for 20 years, Bill brings a broad knowledge of financial literacy and technical analysis skills to the MMG operation. With these skills, he partakes in content creation for MMG's Daily and Weekly publications as well as conducts both live and webinar training events for corporate clients. You also hear Bill's voice from time to time on an Instant Mortgage Re-price alert.

Sue Woodard is the President of Content and Publishing for Mortgage Success Source, the combined entities of the Mortgage Market Guide, LoanToolBox and the Duncan Group. This organization helps more than 40,000 of America's best originators with products and services designed to help them grow their businesses and achieve success.

Sue has held many different roles during her sixteen years in the mortgage industry, and her top producing team maintains a profitable and thriving origination practice in Minneapolis MN. She is also a highly sought-after international speaker, trainer, writer and consultant for the mortgage and real estate industries.

Sue had her own financial radio show, been featured on NBC and CBS Live News Radio, and has also been a guest on CNBC's SquawkBox and Jim Cramer's Mad Money. She is a member of her local Mortgage Association and Board of Realtors, the Women's Council of Realtors, and is on the National Advisory Board for Ellie Mae. She has a ten-year old daughter...and firmly believes that sleep is overrated.

 

Jim McMahan has been a Loan Originator in the Dallas market for over 20 years. In that time Jim's personal funding's have gone well over the $1.5 billion dollar mark, making him not only one of the top producing originators in the Dallas- Ft. Worth Metroplex, but in the entire United States. Since 1992, Jim has averaged over $50 million dollars in personal fundings per year, and for the past five years, Jim's fundings have averaged over $75 million.

Jim serves as Executive Vice President and National Sales Trainer for Benchmark Mortgage Company and also is the President of his own corporation, "McMahan Mortgage Consulting." In these roles, Jim focuses on helping originators across the country gain knowledge of concepts such as fiscal literacy and the fundamentals of economics behind interest rate markets. Additionally, Jim is the Creator and CEO of "Certified Scripts for Success" a program, which helps loan officers both to understand the "why" behind the market and gain a thorough understanding of what to say in the most critical selling situations backed by an advice versus price based platform.

Jim is also a member of Mortgage Success Sources training team and has developed presentation topics such as, "Raising the Standard of Professionalism In Our Industry," "Relationship Selling," and "Personal Development Strategies."

Laura SmithLaura Smith
Laura began her mortgage career as the receptionist for Barry’s own Mortgage Company. Within just three months, Barry recognized Laura’s superior work ethic and unmatched organizational skills as traits that he could not be without. Since then, Laura has been Barry’s only assistant for the past 16 years. Aside from overseeing all of Barry’s Mortgage Business, she schedules & coordinates all speaking events & travel.  Laura’s extensive knowledge of the Market makes her an integral part of the daily operations at MMG. Her multitasking and sense of urgency are second to none, allowing her to get more done in a day than most get done in a week.

 

Elizabeth RoseElizabeth Rose
Elizabeth Rose is the VP of Business Development and Training for the Mortgage Market Guide. Elizabeth works closely with strategic partners, launching new benefits and resources for MMG members. In addition, she conducts live training workshops and webinars along with Bill Bodnar for corporate clients and their teams exposing them to the many tools and resources within MMG to help grow their fiscal and mortgage bond market knowledge and strengthen their pipeline.

As Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist and Xinnix Edge graduate, Elizabeth still continues to originate. She has worked in a variety of roles in the banking and finance industry spanning over 20 years from consumer finance, commercial banking, corporate banking and bank fraud training to the transition in 1997 into Mortgage Banking.

Jennifer CaccavaleJennifer Caccavale
Jennifer is a charter member to the MMG family and began her mortgage career over 9 years ago as a Loan Officer assistant serving 5 originators. Jennifer is the assistant to Bill Bodnar and helps the business development team coordinate the many ongoing activities. She is also responsible for all of our check paying subscribers and works closely with the many corporate accounts currently in place. Jennifer's excellent communication skills and positive attitude make her a huge asset to our business development and customer service team and a pleasure for subscribers to speak with.

 

Ryan StillwellRyan Stillwell
Ryan graduated from Rutgers University with a BA in Management and Labor Relations.After graduating, Ryan was hired as a Credit Manager for Norwest Financial and continued to work with Norwest through their merger with Wells Fargo, where he served as a Branch Manager. After several years Ryan returned to the Residential lending arena and worked as a successful Loan Originator prior to joining The Mortgage Market Guide.  As Vice President of Operations, Ryan currently spends most of his time training and overseeing our customer support, billing and sales team.  Ryan's excellent communication skills, combined with his market knowledge, make him an invaluable asset to not only our team but MMG subscribers as well.

Dan HabibDan Habib
Dan is Barry's Son, and has been working with the Mortgage Market Guide Team since his junior year of high school. Now in his senior year of college, Dan is a valuable member of the New Jersey Sales team. He works full time over the summer and during breaks, and part time while at school pursuing a degree in Finance at Monmouth University.

 

Mike CannizzaroMike Cannizzaro
Straight out of Rutgers University, Mike brings the same fervor to the sales teams as he does in the gym and racquetball court. Never willing to settle for failure he helps elevate the game of each of his MMG clients by providing constant support and inspiration. His motto is that winners are not born, their developed through inspiration, perspiration and determination.

Steve O'LearySteve O'Leary
"SteveO" is a graduate of Monmouth University where he obtained a degree in Finance and is currently pursuing his Master's degree in Real Estate. Due to his vast expertise in both the Mortgage and Real Estate market, he provides his MMG clients with a unique approach in being able to seal the deal in spite of the competition or market condition. He is often the go to guy when a client has a complex question and needs a simple, straight forward answer.

 

Mike VetranoMike Vetrano
As MMG's Sales Manager, Mike relentlessly motivates his sales team to bringing value and service to our family of MMG subscribers. Mike leads by example, as he has built his client base by referrals from satisfied members and is consistently a top producer for MMG. As the Captain of his High School wrestling team, Mike learned early that it's not the man in the fight, but the fight in the man that makes you successful...a lesson he instills in each of his MMG members.

Jon IaconoJon Iacono
Jon is an account manager here at the Mortgage Market Guide and is also part of the customer service/sales team.  Jon is a graduate of Monmouth University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.  He has worked in sales and customer service for ten years and has also been in the mortgage industry processing mortgages and consulting clients for four years.  He actively gives back to his community by participating in the volunteer fire department in his home town.

 

Gary Fazio
A jack of all trades and a master off them all, best describes the "Wizard of Faz". In his illustrious career, he has been a top producer in the Financial, Insurance and Mortgage Industries. As MMG's Vice President of Corporate Sales, Gary has brought new life to many Top Producing Corporations by training their Loan Originators to think out of the box and outperform the competition. Gary's client list includes many of the Top 200 Loan Originators in the country.

Peter ThorpePeter Thorpe
Perseverance, persistence and perfection best describe Peter's character. As a member of the MMG sales team, Pete believes that signing on a new MMG member is just the beginning of his relationship with that member...not the end. Pete delivers constant value to each of his subscribers in the form of timely phone calls and informative e-mails that helps him keep his team at the top of their game. Pete's nickname is Pete "The Olympian" Thorpe because of the gold medal service he relentlessly provides.

 

Matt PitelliMatt Pitelli
MMG was fortunate to obtain Matt right out of College. Matt has been a member of the MMG team for nearly two years and has received numerous accolades from MMG members. He has personally coached hundreds of MMG members in becoming a "Trusted Advisor" and in reaching their personal financial goals. In addition to being a wealth of knowledge regarding the mortgage industry, Matt is a walking sports almanac and can trade sports trivia with the best of sports enthusiasts.

Norman Hunter
"Hot Water" Norm is a newcomer to the MMG sales team. However, he is very familiar with the product, since he has been using it as a Loan Officer for over 15 years.

Norm has a strong financial background with an MBA degree in Finance from Monmouth University. Norm adheres to the philosophy of maintaining a "customer for life" by developing a "relational" rather than "transactional" relationships with his clients.

 

Nicole Habib
Nicole is Barry’s daughter, and has been working with the Mortgage Market Guide team since 2005. As a valuable asset to the New Jersey sales team, a great portion of her sales are accredited to her “sizzling” email signature photo. Nicole graduated from Monmouth university this past year with a bachelors in finance, and is poised to take the world on by storm. Her suaveness in the business is only surpassed by her kindness and good nature.

Kendra Dingee
As Controller, Kendra heads our accounting department and oversees accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliation of credit card charges, billing inquiries, and budgeting.  She is also a part of our customer service team and coordinates with our communication vendors in order to keep us connected. 

Kendra was a successful business owner in the food industry for 13 years prior to joining the MMG Team and now refuses to cook.

 

Dan D’Agostino
Dan has been with Barry for over 12 years. He does a little of this and a little of that. He keeps track of inventory levels on all of MMG’s CDs, DVDs and printed materials; handles our shipping and receiving; prepares our event products; and tries to keep Barry and entourage on course and on time.

In his other life Dan is an Air Traffic Control Specialist at a major NYC airport.

Ernie Scelia
Ernie is quite the conversationalist, being that great conversation and good company are his favorite activities. You will most likely catch Ernie at the gym, playing racquetball, or curling up with a good book. During his interview, Ernie had many great thoughts and ideas to share with us. Many of them were tied to our current theme - attitude. Being a student of philosophy and psychology further enhanced Ernie's passionate ideas. When it comes to attitude, Ernie believes that "your purpose and the goals you set up to achieve it are important".

 

Katharine DeLitizia
Originally from upstate New York, Kat moved to the Netherlands at 10 years of age, where she went to Dutch school for her education. Kat explains that it was quite challenging to learn in an entirely new language! For her college career, Kat majored in Interior Design. Interior Design is now more of a hobby for her as she chose to work here, where she "very much enjoys the people and the atmosphere". Kat states that she is "very excited and lucked out to be part of such a great company".

Pat Hennessy
Patrick graduated from St. Peters College with a BS degree in marketing.  He worked at several Wall Street firms as a Nasdaq Trader where he held the Series 7, 24, 55 and 63 brokerage licenses.

Upon leaving Wall Street in 2003 Patrick was hired by The Mortgage Market Guide.  He currently handles all aspects pertaining to market data, market questions and research for all financial queries.  Patrick’s great communication skills which make him a perfect fit for MMG’s customer service area.  Patrick currently is the lead writer for The Mortgage Market Guide’s popular “Off the Charts” feature, which is a weekly stock report.  He also writes a daily business news piece for a business partner of the Mortgage Market Guide.  Patrick enjoys playing basketball and coaching his son’s local youth sports teams.

 

Jo Ann Jarmer
If there ever was a person who genuinely loved her job, JoAnn fits the bill. JoAnn has dedicated more than half of her life to Customer Service and is the recipient of numerous citations during her career at AT&T, Lucent Technologies and Horizon Blue Cross/Blue Shield. She is frequently requested by our members as she consistently goes beyond the call of duty to ensure member satisfaction..

Avi Habib
Aside from being Barry's nephew, Avi brings solid tech skills and "muscle" to the team. If you ever need assistance with your account and/or settings, Avi will be one of guys you call. Another fan of the lunch hour, "Av" is a Hard Eater!

Zach Harris
Zach is a long time member of the MMG Team. He is the go-to person for any tech problems our subscribers may have. He is a very talented and dedicated employee that bleeds MMG green. Zach studied Finance and Information Technology at Monmouth University.
He believes "Great works are performed, not by strength, but by perseverance".

 

Paul Harrison
a/k/a “The Cure” or “Pablo” as we call him. Paul is Mortgage Market Guide’s Chief Information Officer. He has been with Mortgage Market Guide since day one and is responsible for all of the technological advances for MMG. Paul is super brilliant and “leans into” all projects handed to him and always strives for perfection.

Emil Towner
Emil joined the MMG team in 2007 with more than a dozen years of experience in communications and writing. His responsibilities include researching and writing content for the MMG website, as well as MMG Weekly, MMG Monthly, MMG Highlights, and communications to MMG members. Emil holds a BS in Mass Communications, an MA in English, and is currently finishing his PhD in Technical Communication and Rhetoric. When he’s not writing for MMG, he can be found teaching college courses on rhetoric, writing, and communication.

 

Greg Haakonson
Greg is responsible for the creative art direction of various promotions and membership services both online and in print. As a graduate of St. Cloud State University in Minnesota, Greg holds a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications and has over 10 years of experience in advertising and graphic design.

Dr. Adams is our Chief Technical Analyst. "Artimus Rex" as we call him, is an unbelievable researcher, as he scours the globe for information. His skills in technical analysis are only surpassed by his trading abilities. Whether you need to identify a floor of support or if you need a question about technical analysis answered..Dr. Art is your man.

 

Donna Hampton
Donna takes pride in being the first impression of the MMG Team for our subscribers who contact our office by phone.  She is the receptionist whose friendly voice our subscribers hear when they call in and she determines who to direct each call to, in order to give them the best possible customer service for their needs. Our subscribers are amazing people and Donna loves talking with them and getting to know them a little better.  Donna helps out with many other tasks in our New Jersey office but most importantly she is here to answer the calls in a positive and cheerful manner, which she loves doing. Donna is extremely proud to be part of the MMG team and we are very fortunate to have her.

Karen Anderson
Karen Anderson works in Sue Woodard's Minnesota office, busy managing the many systems they have in place for their mortgage practice, and also keeping Sue pointed in the right direction at all times... and that's a big job!  Karen has been in the mortgage business for over 20 years, grew up in a family real estate business, and has done everything in the mortgage industry from originating to processing to underwriting and closing loans.  She is always ready to lend a helping hand to our MMG family of subscribers...and if Karen calls you, don't be surprised if you hear a little 80's music in the background.

 

Jodee Brydges
Jodee is the CEO of Meridian Financial, and has built her company with the philosophy that it is not just about the loan, it is about educating clients about the right loan to fit their portfolio and build their financial future.  This philosophy has helped Jodee build her business 100% by referral.  Jodee Brydges has a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, an extensive background in the financial and lending industries, and joined Mortgage Market Guide as a contributing writer for The MMG Weekly.

Jodee has also shared her expertise in presenting successful consumer seminars by creating  PointPro™ and partnering with MMG on one of our newest products, the PointPro™ Presentation System.
