Graphics

I have tried a number of times to retrieve, through Internet Explorer on Demand, the Vector Graphic Rendering (VML) program needed to properly display the newsletter. Unfortunately, my system requires a CD to do this. Can you send me a CD with this program on it?

I cannot view the charts. I am prompted to install VMC or Vector Graph Rendering and an option to download. When I click the download option I am prompted “what program?”. What do I do?

A: Unfortunately I believe it has something to do with your local system configuration. Our site is not composed of any unusual graphics and shouldn't require special software.

Q: I cannot view the charts. I am prompted to install VMC or Vector Graph Rendering and an option to download. When I click the download option I am prompted “what program?”. What do I do?

A: If you are told that Vector Graphic Rendering is not installed, then you may need to enable it. This only applies to users who are using Internet Explorer 5.5 or 6. By default in IE5.5 and IE6, Vector Graphic Rendering is not enabled. Go to Microsoft’s download page for IE and follow the instructions to run the setup program for IE or to upgrade your browser to the most current version. During setup, choose the option to customize your setup and enable Vector Graphic Rendering (VML). After this has been enabled you should see images (charts and graphs) and should not receive the Vector Graphic Rendering error message.
